How do I take the medication?

Follow the instructions the medical provider has given you with regards to medication administration during your consultation or call us at 832-900-4410 for any clarification.  When your medicine arrives review carefully all package inserts.  You will receive an insert from our pharmacy partner with a QR code that takes you to an instructional video on how to apply your medication. Who can be a patient of Lean Dose?

Anyone who is in the state of Texas, is 18 years of age or older, and can demonstrate the need for treatment during the medical consultation.

How does the process work with Lean Dose?

Lean Dose is an Online Weight Loss Clinic that facilitates and simplifies treatment for our patients. The 3 steps to follow are:

  1. Complete your medical intake/registration form indicating your need for treatment.
  2. Consult with one of our Health Care providers via telehealth (audio or visual) to determine which treatment is best for you.
  3. Receive your medication through a home visit (where the service is available) or via the mail directly to your home in about 2 business days. Follow-up consultations are scheduled every 30 days for progress management and medicine titration.

What if I am having a medical emergency?

For all emergencies, you should call 911 and seek help at your local emergency room.

Do you accept insurance?

No, our patients are solely responsible for the cost of services and products.

What states do we service for Telemedicine?

We are currently providing Telemedicine services only in the state of Texas.

What is the process for getting a prescription? Can I obtain one from any state?

No. First, you will complete an online questionnaire to gather information for your healthcare provider about your symptoms and medical history. We will then match you with a licensed provider who will review the information and evaluate your treatment options. Your provider might follow up with questions which you can respond to using our secure online telehealth. If your treatment plan includes a prescription, it will be delivered to the shipping address you provided in discreet packaging in a few days once your provider completes your evaluation. If you are not in the state of Texas, the order will be refunded and no prescription will be provided.

All new patients need to start with a telehealth visit. After that, when you need a new prescription, we’ll have a short appointment to answer your questions and check how you’re doing. This happens every 1-3 months until your treatment is stable. These check-ins help you stay on track, know what’s happening, and feel confident about your weight loss journey. Best of all, these follow-up visits won’t cost you anything extra.

What happens if I have more questions after my initial visit?

Most of your questions are usually addressed during your first appointment, follow-up visits, our website, and the comprehensive welcome package we give you. If you have more questions about your medication, you can contact us through phone, text, or email. Please understand that it might take up to 36 business hours for us to get back to you. It’s important to note that we focus on specific health concerns related to your treatment, so for any sudden health issues or general health questions, we recommend reaching out to your Primary Care Physician.
